“If you have a strong purpose in life, you don’t have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there.”  – Roy T. Bennett

Queen By Choice!

She's confident, generous, anointed, and dependable. She is surely the kind of woman who exudes grace. Not captivated by titles but more importantly, embraces the beauty of growth, trials, and successes. She would certainly be one amazing queen! oh, and she's a creative writer!

Yep, that's her the woman I aspire to be. The woman that I choose to become with the help of the Lord.

What about you? What does the woman you aspire to be sound like? Is she loud and fun? Is she quiet and soft-spoken? Do you see her living free of opinions? What does living her dreams look like?

There is no right or wrong answer to the questions above. Even better there are no limitations that can be placed on your vision for who you aspire to become.

What if I told you that you don't have to just aspire to become her. You can choose to become the woman you always wanted to be.

Let's choose to be A queen by choice! And never look back...

I get to choose!

I get to choose! Say it again with me, " I get to choose". Wow, I love that affirmation. It's so simple yet so powerful once we apply it to our lives. When you choose you are " deciding on a course of action". Now that we have decided who we aspire to be and also, have acknowledged the fact we can become her with a choice, the real question is how?

Making a daily choice to set realistic goals in place that pushes you closer to your goal is choosing daily to strive to evolve into the woman you always aspired to become.

How do I choose to be the proverbs 31 woman I always aspired to be?

Determine her traits

1.)She loves God with all her soul.

2.)She is a servant

3.)She is a wise woman

4.)She is a hard worker

Ask yourself "how can I choose" to become a proverb 31 woman?

1.)Spending more quality time with the Lord daily to build our relationship. ("Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.")

2.)Find ways to serve others around you! (1 Peter 1:4 "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.)

3,) Ask! Right? ... ask the Lord to give you wisdom on your job, or to help you make a decision and watch him blow your mind. ( " Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.")

4.) Start working on that dream God placed inside your heart or expand it to the next level. Why not, right? Working hard doesn't mean you need to overwork yourself or work extra hours. It just means you have a strategy to work smarter not harder to achieve the goal of living life on purpose.

And just like that by creating a strategy to apply God's truth to your life daily and an action plan that follows allows you to choose to be queen!

Questions to ponder upon

1.)What is my biggest passion in life?

2.)What did I want to be when I was growing up?

3.)Is it time for me to get out of my comfort zone?

4.)What are three reasons why I want to choose to be?

Don't let your crown slip

Your beautiful crown is a metaphor for how your view yourself. I don't just mean physically. When you image a queen she has her crown on straight, she's sitting straight up in her seat and looks the part. But as we know everything is not always what it appears to be. You can look the part" and be crumbling on the inside.

Although life will happen and seasons will come when trials and troubles will appear. I want you to never lose sight of the woman you aspire to become.

Don't let your crown slip away from trails, busy schedules, or even lack of self-investment.

You were chosen by God for a greater purpose far beyond yourself.

May you always remember that you have been Crowned Chosen for such a time as this!
